Helicopter Tours/Charters/Excursions Questions

Are you open on weekends?

Yes, we are open on Saturdays and Sundays.

What Days of the week are your open?

We are open every day of the week, except a federal holidays. (If you would like to book a custom flight on a holiday please email info@atoimchelicopters.com for more information.)

Are you open year round?

Yes, we are open year round.

What are your hours of operation?

Our standard hours of operation are 10am-6pm.

do you offer flights outside of your normal hours of operation?

We do offer flights outside of our normal hours of operation. For flights operating between 6:01pm-9:59am there will be a one time $50 after hours surcharge added to the flight balance. (If you would like to book a flight outside of our normal hours of operation please email info@atoimchelicopters.com for more information.)

Can we still fly if it is raining?

Yes, the beautiful city of Seattle and the rest of the PNW is no stranger to light rain. Your flight will not be cancelled do to rain. However, if there are low clouds and/or high winds we will contact you to reschedule your flight or give you a full refund.

What is your weather policy?

Atomic Helicopters operates rain or shine. If there are low clouds and/or high winds we will will contact you to reschedule your flight or give you a full refund.

What is your CANCELLATION policy?

All flights are nonrefundable except in the case of inclement weather. If you flight is canceled due to weather you will receive a full refund.

Is there an age limit to fly with Atomic Helicopters? Is there a weight limit to fly with Atomic Helicopters?

We have no age limit, guests of all ages are welcome! (10% off your next tour if you ID shows you are older than our oldest guest who was born in 1924!)

What tours do your offer?

We offer several different tour options: City, Lake Washington, Falls, and Mountain, ranging from 15-20 to 60-80 min long. For more information on our route and rates click here to see our tours page.

What are the rates for tours?

Rates for our tours are per passenger plus tax and vary depending on the tour, for exact rates click here to be directed to our tour page.

How many passengers can ride in the Helicopter per tour?

We can accommodate up to 9 passengers. Our Airbus H-130 Helicopter can accommodate 4-6 passengers per flight and our Robinson 44 helicopter can accommodate up to 3 passengers per flight. Do you offer charter flights?

Do you offer wedding/ENGAGEMENT/PHOTO SHOOTS?

Are you currently accepting students? Yes

where is the Atomic flight school located? SEattle, Washington, USA

What is training like? Training is customized to meet every students unique SCHEDULE and goals.

How long does will it take me to get my license? Every student is unique. most Atomic students accomplish their private pilot license within one year.

How much will it cost for me to get my license? The cost varies depending on the student and their schedule the average cost for a private pilot license is $15-17K USD.

What type of training programs do you have? We currently offer: Private , COMMERCIAL, and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) training.

I work a full time job, is your flight school hours FLEXIBLE? Yes, our flight instruction is one one one and designed to work with your schedule.
